What does an aromatherapy massage entail?
Aromatherapy massage combines the therapeutic benefits of essential oils with traditional massage techniques to help relax the body and mind. You choose your own essential oil blend, which can be tailored to your needs, such as stress relief, pain reduction, or mood enhancement.
How do essential oils work in an aromatherapy massage?
Essential oils are absorbed through the skin and inhaled during the massage. Their therapeutic properties help reduce tension, boost mood, and improve circulation. The aromatic scents also stimulate the brain’s limbic system, promoting emotional balance and relaxation.
Can I do an aromatherapy massage with hot, and or cold stones?
You sure can! :)
Do I get to choose my essential oil?
Of course you do! And if you aren't sure we can discuss it together.
I just found out I'm pregnant, will this cause a problem for an aromatherapy massage?
It can, it is very important to let me know ASAP if you become pregnant as there are some essential oils not recommended for mama's to be.
Can I bring my own blend in for my appointment?
Of course! If it is clearly labeled what it is, that's all I ask.* This may change over time, so best to double check with me first.
