GENERAL POLICIES:

1. Appointment Scheduling Policy:

  • Clients are encouraged to schedule appointments in advance to ensure availability.

  • Same-day appointments may be accommodated based on therapist availability.A minimum notice of 24 hours is required for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a cancellation fee

2. Payment Policy:

  • Payment is due at the time of service.

  • I accept cash, credit/debit cards, and e-transfer.

  • Gift certificates must be presented at the time of service and are non-refundable.

3. Late Arrival Policy:

  • Clients are encouraged to arrive on time for their appointments to receive the full session duration.

  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to accommodate other scheduled appointments.

4. Cancellation and No-Show Policy:

  • A cancellation fee equivalent to the full appointment time may be charged for appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice or for no-shows.

  • Repeat offenders will be required to prepay for future appointments or forfeit the ability to schedule appointments.

5. Health and Safety Policy:

  • Clients are required to disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect their massage therapy session.

  • The therapist reserves the right to refuse service if the client's health or safety is at risk.

  • All equipment and surfaces are sanitized and disinfected between appointments to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

6. Confidentiality Policy:

  • Client confidentiality is respected and maintained at all times.Personal information shared during consultations or sessions will not be disclosed to third parties without the client's consent, except as required by law.

7. Professional Conduct Policy:

  • Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner during sessions.Inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to sexual advances, harassment, or aggression, will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the session and refusal of future service.

8. Scope of Practice Policy:

  • Massage therapists are trained and certified in specific massage techniques and modalities.

  • Services provided are within the scope of practice for massage therapy, and therapists will not perform services outside their area of expertise.

9. Feedback and Complaints Policy:

  • Clients are encouraged to provide feedback on their massage therapy experience to help improve our services.

  • Any complaints or concerns should be addressed promptly and respectfully to the Casey.

10. Minors Policy:

  • Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during their first massage therapy session.

  • Parental consent is required for minors to receive massage therapy services.

MASSAGE PACKAGES AVAILABLE:

GOOD PACKAGE: 4 1-hour treatments

BETTER PACKAGE: 2 1-hour treatments, and 2-90 minute treatments

BEST PACKAGE: 4-90 minute treatments

POLICIES FOR PACKAGES:

1. Purchase and Validity:

  • Purchase Methods: Packages can be purchased online through our website or in-person at our business location.

  • Validity Period: Packages are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

  • Activation Date: The validity period begins on the date of the first session booked using the package.

2. Usage:

  • Package Sessions: Clients can schedule their sessions at their convenience, subject to availability.

  • Transferability: Packages can NOT be transferred to another person without prior authorization.

  • Multiple Sessions: Clients can use multiple sessions from their package in a single booking (Ex: Reiki/massage, massage and a body scrub, etc.)

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling:

  • Cancellation Notice: Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session booked using a package.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in the session being deducted from the package.

  • No-Show Policy: No-shows will result in the session being deducted from the package.

4. Expiration and Extension:

  • Expiration: All package sessions must be used within the one-year period. Unused sessions will expire and are non-refundable.

  • Extension Requests: Extensions may be granted in exceptional circumstances (ex: medical issues) if requested in writing before the expiration date.

5. Refunds and Exchanges:

  • Non-Refundable: Packages are non-refundable once purchased.

  • Exchanges: Package sessions can be exchanged for other services of equal or lesser value if requested in advance. No refunds will be provided for differences in value.

6. Health and Safety:

  • Client Health: Clients must inform the therapist of any health conditions, injuries, or allergies prior to each session.

  • Illness: Clients feeling unwell are asked to reschedule their appointments to avoid spreading illness. Sessions can be rescheduled without penalty with sufficient notice. 

7. Package Customization:

  • Custom Packages: Clients can request customized packages to better suit their needs. Pricing and terms will be provided upon request.

  • Add-On Services: Clients can add additional services (ex: hot stone massage, warm bamboo massage, etc.) to their sessions at an additional cost. These must be specified at the time of booking.

8. Session Adjustments

  • Session Length: Clients can upgrade the length of their session (ex: from 60 minutes to 90 minutes) if there is availability. Additional charges will apply.

9. Emergency Situations

  • Business Interruptions: If the business must close due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, health emergencies), clients will be notified, and sessions will be rescheduled.
