Do I need to see the same registered massage therapist each time?

You have a hair gal, a nail gal, and an eyelash gal, that you would trust with your life. You are able to give a recommendation to anyone in need of a great mechanic or electrician. What about a great registered massage therapist? Is the same statement true, that you are better off seeing the same registered massage therapist every time? Do you have a regular registered massage therapist in your immediate contact list? Can massage be equally healing and therapeutic if you change it up from time to time?
There can be lots of value to seeing the same registered massage therapist each time, or at least sticking to a select few, and I will talk about why:
It allows you to be more comfortable, you will know what to expect from their massage. You know (generally) when you'll flip over, what will be worked on first, and so much more!
I already know, this means I know that you prefer your hands not be touched, your scalp left alone, it is kind of nice to not have to explain every little quark. An added bonus is remembering a certain issue with another body part and link it to a problem you may have now, and help take care of the underlying muscular problem.
I can help you notice a progression or difference. If you have been experiencing low back pain for awhile, and it FINALLY gets loosened up with regular massage, I will notice and be able to help you keep it feeling its best.
Though if you are new to getting massages, sometimes its worth it to try a few other registered massage therapists to help you decide on your massage preferences.
